Five-minute interview for kids and their adults

Talking about why it’s valuable to walk and bike can solidify commitment to integrate these activities into daily life and address barriers to doing so. Plus, it’s fun to talk about walking and biking! Below are questions that can help get a conversation going. Take turns being the interviewer and responder.

  1. Think about the last time you went for a bicycle ride or walk. What did you like about it?
  2. What did you not like about it?
  3. What can we do to change things we don’t like about the ride or walk?
  4. If you could ride or walk anywhere, where would you go? (For fun, take a “virtual walk or bike” around a distant location using Google Street View. Go to Google Maps and drag and drop the yellow person to where you want to start your view.)
